Born from a Love of Nature & Adventure

Discover the story behind Tinwood Cabins and the passion that drives everything we do

Our Story

From campground hosts to cabin creators

What started as a simple love for connecting with people in nature has grown into Tinwood Cabins — where thoughtful design meets mountain adventure, and every guest becomes part of our story.

The Beginning

The idea for Tinwood Cabins began back in 2014, when we spent a few seasons running the Rossland Campground. What stood out the most wasn’t just the beautiful views or busy summer nights — it was the people.

The Fresh Start

Years later, after an unexpected shift in our work life, we took it as a chance to start fresh — and recreate what we love. We were drawn back to the idea of simple, meaningful living born in nature.

Tinwood Today

That spark eventually grew into what is now Tinwood Cabins. Built with comfort, sustainability, and adventure in mind, our cabins are designed to be a modern, cozy home base for those looking to slow down and reconnect.

"Tinwood Cabins is a space of warmth, simplicity, and nature-driven comfort. Rooted in the rugged beauty of Rossland, we provide an escape that blends cozy modern living with immersive outdoor adventure."
